Which tennis racquets are used by the top pros?
I thought that it would be really beneficial to let you know which tennis racquets are used by the top pros on the mens and womens tour. This may be a useful list when you decide it’s time for a new tennis racquet and you would like to play with the same model as your favourite player.

You do realize that many of the pros are using paintjobs on their racquets and they are not the racquets they appear to be using? This is a well known practice.
Also almost no top pros use stock racquets especially on the Men’s side. They are all heavily customized with much higher static weight and swing weight than the stock models. The point is you shouldn’t think that you are buying the exact same racquet your favorite pro uses when buying a racquet.

Unfortunately this is true in many cases and has been so for years. Vilas’ Head racquet had an extra layer of graphite and different weight distribution, but ultimately the consumer Head Vilas was as close to his racquet as you could get. The Borg Donnay was the same.
For example - I have no idea whether or not Nadal’s racquet is heavily customised but aesthetically it certainly resembles very closely what the buying public are getting. This is probably as good as it gets.
